Celtic ready to complete Premier League transfer, reveals Brendan Rodgers
CELTIC are ready to sign Manchester City's Patrick Roberts on a permanent deal this summer and just need the green light to get the transfer underway, Brendan Rodgers has confirmed.

Celtic brought Roberts, 20, in on loan this season and he repaid Rodgers’ faith with nine goals for the Scottish champions.
The former Fulham star enjoyed six months on loan at the back end of last season as well.

And Rodgers says he will look into signing the England youth international on a permanent transfer if the opportunity arises.
"He’s a player we would love to have here permanently, of course, but we have to respect he’s still a Manchester City player," Rodgers said of Roberts.
"But if there’s ever a possibility of doing it, then it’s something I would look at."

Celtic may lose Moussa Dembele in the summer, with Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea tracking his progress.
And that would open up funds to sign the likes of Roberts, who has made just one league appearance for City since his move from Fulham in 2015.
Rodgers has previously said he is likely to sign just two players in the transfer window.
