MANCHESTER UNITED are the bookmakers’ favourites to sign Kasper Schmeichel ahead of Liverpool this summer.

Leicester goalkeeper Schmeichel, 30, could leave the Premier League champions at the end of the season.
Manchester United have been linked with the Denmark international, with David de Gea tipped to join Real Madrid.
De Gea’s departure would force United manager Jose Mourinho into the transfer market and the boss is 2/1 with bookies Betway to secure Schmeichel.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, meanwhile, faces a tough summer transfer window with goalkeepers Simon Mignoet and Loris Karius both supposedly free to leave at the right price.
Neither stopper has convinced Klopp they are first choice at Anfield in the long term and Schmeichel is 6/1 to head to Merseyside.
Meanwhile, Manchester City (also 6/1) are expected to dive into the transfer market following Claudio Bravo’s disappointing debut season in the Premier League and Joe Hart’s likely sale.

United were linked with a shock move for England international Hart earlier this week but the City are unlikely to sanction a deal to their local rivals.
Leicester could still keep their man, who was one of their top performers in their charge to the Premier League title last season.
Schmeichel also enjoyed a stellar Champions League campaign with the Foxes this term and is likely to opt for a club playing in Europe’s elite club competition if he decides to leave the King Power.
Kasper Schmeichel next club:
Leicester 4/9
Manchester United 2/1
Liverpool 6/1
Manchester City 6/1
Everton 8/1
Chelsea 16/1
Real Madrid 25/1
