Major Chelsea transfer boost as Juventus are told forward can’t sign
JUVENTUS have been told they cannot sign Fiorentina’s Federico Bernardeschi, leaving Chelsea and Bayern Munich to battle for the forward.
Chelsea reportedly want to sign Federico Bernardeschi
Juventus want to sign Bernardeschi this summer as manager Max Allegri seeks to bolster his forward line.
The boss is supposedly worried that Paulo Dybala may force a move away from the Turin club, even though he signed a new contract earlier this month.
Chelsea, Inter Milan and Bayern Munich are both trailing Bernardeschi in the hope he becomes available this summer.
The Blues are said to be willing to offer Bernardeschi a £4.2m-a-season contract.
And Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport claim Fiorentina have ruled out selling the 23-year-old to Juve.
According to the report, the Florence club have told both the player and Juve that they will not accept an offer from the Serie A leaders.
However, Fiorentina are open to selling Bernardeschi and Inter have set aside £33.6million (€40m) for his capture.
Gazzetta report that Inter director Piero Ausilio has held a meeting with agent Beppe Bozzo over a proposed deal.

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is said to be a fan of Bernardeschi, who has 13 goals this season.
But any deal would likely come if Conte fails to land his top target Romelu Lukaku from Everton.
