The Dutch defender was brought on as an 86th-minute substitute following Marouane Fellaini's red card, but suffered a shoulder injury during the last action of the 0-0 draw.
Fosu-Mensah posted a picture of himself on a treatment table with his right arm in a sling following the match, adding to Jose Mourinho's injury woes ahead of Sunday's clash with Swansea City (12pm).
Manchester United are already without Chris Smalling, Phil Jones, Paul Pogba, Marcos Rojo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic due to injury, while Fellaini will serve a two-match suspension.
