Arsenal transfer news
Newcastle want to sign Arsenal defender Carl Jenkinson, according to reports.
Arsenal are preparing to offer a raft of players new contracts this summer.
But Jenkinson is set to end his six-year stint at the Emirates before the start of next season.
That is according to the The Mirror, who claim Newcastle and Brighton are both keen on landing the defender.
Brighton have already secured promotion to the Premier League, while Newcastle are six points clear of Reading in the race for the Championship's second automatic spot.

Manchester United and Real Madrid swap?
Manchester United should sign Gareth Bale if David de Gea moves to Real Madrid, says former Red Devils assistant Rene Meulensteen.
Real Madrid have earmarked goalkeeper De Gea as their top summer target.
The Bernabeu club is already working on a deal to sign the Spain international.
But Meulensteen believes United should broker a deal that would bring Bale back to the Premier League in place of the shot-stopper.
"As a manager you have to find out where he wants to go, is he going?" he said on talkSPORT.
Real Madrid want to sign David de Gea
They say 'OK you get De Gea, what do we want?' You give us Bale
"What is the best scenario for us? What do we want to get out of it?
"Especially for De Gea, the speculation has been there now for three years.
"Manchester United and Jose Mourinho must try to make sure that if that is the case, what is the best outcome for Manchester United?
"For instance, they say 'OK you get De Gea, what do we want? You give us Bale'.
"There has to be something where Manchester United come out of it even better."
