MANCHESTER UNITED are concerned David De Gea is becoming distracted by the prospect of a £50m summer switch to Real Madrid, according to reports.

The Spaniard has been strongly linked with a move to the Spanish capital in recent months.
De Gea first came close to joining Real on transfer deadline day in the summer of 2015 but a move fell through at the last minute.
And with Keylor Navas failing to impress Zinedine Zidane at the Bernabeu, Real are expected to target another swoop for him in the transfer window.

With speculation rife over the 26-year-old's future, the Mirror claim Jose Mourinho is concerned his focus may lie elsewhere.
De Gea was dropped for United's 3-0 win over Sunderland on Sunday as Sergio Romero stepped in.
Mourinho didn't go into detail about the reason for his absence prior to the match but later confirmed it was a hip problem.

However, United legend Phil Neville speculated it could be something more than that, suggesting he could be distracted with a move to Madrid.
Romero is set to maintain his place in the starting XI for United's trip to Anderlecht in the first leg of their Europa League quarter-final on Thursday (8.05pm).
