Mauricio Pochettino confirms huge injury blow: Tottenham star to miss rest of the season
MAURICIO POCHETTINO has confirmed midfielder Harry Winks has been ruled out for the rest of Tottenham’s season.

Winks was forced off on a stretcher during Tottenham’s 2-0 win over Burnley on Saturday with an ankle injury.
The 21-year-old has enjoyed his best run in the Tottenham first team this season, featuring in 33 games across all competitions.

But the England Under-21 midfielder’s campaign appears to be over after his challenge with Stephen Ward, which saw him tumble into the Burnley dugout.
Pochettino said: “It will be difficult for him to play again this season. He has done scans and after that we will see what the real problem is.
“We hope it is no big issue but he twisted his ankle and now we need to see what happened. We need to see the results of the scan and then to start his recovery.”
Harry Winks scored his first goal for Tottenham this season
Winks scored his first senior goal for Tottenham last November in the 3-2 comeback win over West Ham and was rewarded with a new five-year contract in February.
Tottenham are also without defender Danny Rose, midfielders Victor Wanyama and Erik Lamela and striker Harry Kane through injury.
