Michael Owen: This is what will happen when Liverpool take on Bournemouth
MICHAEL OWEN is predicting a routine win for Liverpool when they host Bournemouth on Wednesday (8pm).
Michael Owen expecting Liverpool to beat Bournemouth at Anfield
Liverpool go up against Bournemouth on the back of a morale-boosting 3-1 victory over Merseyside rivals Everton.
The Reds lost 4-3 to the Cherries at Dean Court last December, but Owen is confident his former club can make up for the defeat this weekend.
Jurgen Klopp faces Eddie Howe at Anfield
Liverpool’s three wins in their last four outings has seen them rise to third in the table, having dropped to fifth in February after a disastrous start to 2017.
While Bournemouth are undefeated since the turn of March, easing any fears of a relegation scrap thanks to a winless run of five matches.
Owen told BetVictor: “As we thought Liverpool were far too good for neighbours Everton at the weekend.
“And they will be keen to avenge their 4-3 loss at Bournemouth earlier in the season when they led 3-1 with just fifteen minutes to play.
“I do not expect to see any slip up from Jurgen Klopp’s side against the Cherries.”
