Jurgen Klopp broke Liverpool’s transfer record with the acquisition of Sadio Mane last summer but it seems they could top that when the transfer window reopens at the end of the season.
The German boss chose not to sign any players in January but he will now have the full backing of the Liverpool board to splash the cash in the summer.
According to The Sun, Liverpool are targeting moves for several high profile players that Klopp believes will see them challenge for the Premier League title next season.

The report claims Athletic Bilbao’s Inaki Williams is on Klopp’s wishlist, while Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko is also attracting interest.
Klopp also reportedly has his eye on two Premier League stars - Arsenal’s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Southampton defender Virgil van Dijk.

With a host of fresh talent expected to arrive on Merseyside in the summer, Klopp is keen to get rid of some of the deadwood.
The Sun add Daniel Sturridge, Lucas Leiva, Alberto Moreno, Adam Bogdan and either Simon Mignolet or Loris Karius will all be moved on at the end of the campaign.
