Paul Merson predicts 3-1 win for Liverpool when they host Burnley
Liverpool face Burnley on the back of an impressive 3-1 victory over Arsenal last weekend, which saw them overtake the Gunners into the Premier League’s top four.
It was their second win on the bounce at Anfield, having beaten top-four rivals Tottenham 2-0 last month.
Jurgen Klopp and Sean Dyche go head to head at Anfield
While Burnley are winless in their last five outings and are still searching for their first win on the road this season.
Merson believes Sean Dyche’s men have improved away from home in recent weeks, but the pundit can’t see anything other than a Liverpool win when the two sides meet.
Merson told Sky Sports: “Burnley have been doing much better away from home in recent weeks but the result haven't quite gone their way.
Liverpool beat Arsenal 3-1 last time out
“They were very unlucky the other day when they lost 3-2 to a late goal at Swansea. However, I have to back Liverpool.
“They put in a much improved display against Arsenal last weekend and Jurgen Klopp will want his side to build on that.”
