Arsenal’s 3-1 defeat to Liverpool last weekend saw their top-four bid take a hit as they dropped to fifth in the Premier League.
The Gunners were also humiliated by Bayern Munich in midweek, losing 10-2 on aggregate to exit the Champions League at the last 16 stage.
Arsene Wenger has taken the brunt of the responsibility, with Arsenal fans calling for the manager’s head.

But Gunners legend Wright believes chief executive Gazidis is to blame after he claimed the club would not make a decision on Wenger’s future.
Wenger is out of contract at the end of the season and Wright feels the board should never have given the Frenchman the power to decide his future.
“It’s terrible,” Wright said on BT Sport. “It’s heartbreaking. My heart is crying.
“The quote which Ivan Gazidis made that the the club won’t decide Arsene Wenger’s fate, that is why we are seeing (stuff like this).

“Because they’re saying ‘we aren’t going to get rid of him’ - that is why we’re getting [protests].
“That for me is a death nail from him. It’s horrible to see that, I know how upset they are and they’ve got every right to be with the way some performances have gone.
“But that is where that has come from, it’s come from upstairs.”
