Cedric is apparently held in high regard by the Spanish club's scouts, who believe he already plays in a style that suits them.

It is said Saints will not stand in Cedric's way should he decide to leave with the club repeatedly selling their big names, but always being able to replace them.
He is under contract with Saints until June 2020 having penned a contract extension last summer.
