Chelsea outbid Man United and Barcelona with £52m offer: Agent speaks out on interest
CHELSEA reportedly outbid Manchester United and Barcelona with a £52million offer for Marquinhos last summer.
Marquinhos Player Profile
The Paris Saint-Germain star was strongly linked with a move away from the French capital and had several clubs chasing his signature.
Manchester United and Chelsea were both keen to bring him to England, while Barcelona were also credited with interest.
However, PSG were reluctant to part with the 22-year-old and he stayed at the Parc des Princes, where he is currently under contract until 2019.

And his agent, Giuliano Bertolucci, has confirmed the French club never had any intentions of selling the defender.
"The president of PSG never wanted to negotiate a transfer, neither with Barca nor with anyone," he told Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo.
"Last summer there was a €60million (£52m) proposal for Marquinhos and he rejected it."

Reports suggest Antonio Conte's Chelsea made a £52m offer for Marquinhos
Despite Bertolucci not naming which club made the offer, French publication Le 10 Sport claim it was from Chelsea.
Marquinhos is likely to be the subject of interest from European clubs in the summer but he could commit his future to PSG with reports suggesting a new two year-deal is on the table.
