Chelsea have been tracking the 24-year-old Real Madrid striker, who has been largely overlooked by Zinedine Zidane this term.
Despite his lack of game time, Morata’s return has been impressive, scoring 12 times in all competitions.
Antonio Conte is looking at adding to his firepower, especially after reports emerged suggesting Diego Costa wants the Blues to match the £38m-a-year contract offer on the table to move to the Chinese Super League.
Morata was a Chelsea target last summer, and it is believed he is keen on a move to London.
