The 31-year-old has been heavily linked with a move away from Manchester United after being used sparingly by Jose Mourinho this season.
Shandong Luneng have been pursuing Young for several months and ESPN claim they are desperately trying to push through a move.

It is claimed Felix Magath's side are in talks with Young's agent and have enlisted the help of a representative in England to try and get a deal over the line before the Chinese transfer window closes on February 28.
United captain Wayne Rooney has also been strongly linked with a switch to China after Mourinho refused to rule out the England international leaving Old Trafford.

And Young could be on his way out too as he could be tempted into the riches of China and secure a last minute move.
The former Aston Villa star has 18 months left on his contract at Old Trafford.
