REAL MADRID president Florentino Perez has responded to talk of a move for Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea.

Real Madrid are said to be in the market for a new goalkeeper and are seeking a replacement for Keylor Navas in the summer.
Manchester United's David de Gea is reportedly on their radar and the keeper discussed a potential return to Madrid in the Spanish press.
De Gea claimed a future move to the Bernabeu was possible and this has prompted a response from Real's president Florentino Perez.

Perez has suggested reports of a move for the 26-year-old are wide of the mark, but he would not rule out a move for De Gea entirely.
"Someone is messing around there with De Gea," Perez said.
"We're not going to deny everything that comes out about transfers.
"But we won't work on any signing until the end of the season - everyone is really happy with Keylor Navas."

Speaking to Spanish newspaper AS Diario, De Gea said: "The future nobody knows.
"The future is the future. I'm very happy here, it's a great club. In England, football is enjoyed a lot.
"I'm not going to talk about that [Real Madrid]. I'm not going to talk about that subject now. I just have to keep focused on my club."
