Arsenal are reportedly eyeing a shock move for Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick.
The Sun claim the Gunners will move for the 35-year-old after Jose Mourinho refused to give him assurances on his future.
Carrick is out of contract in the summer and is yet to be offered a new deal.
When asked about Carrick's future Mourinho said: “Look, let’s be honest, I see many positive things in Carrick but I cannot go to his identity cards and delete five years. He is not 35, he is not 30.”

Chelsea are reportedly planning a £75million summer swoop for Manchester City star Sergio Aguero.
Real Madrid are long-term admirers of Aguero and are expected to make a move for the striker in the summer.
But the Daily Mirror claim Chelsea are planning to hijack Madrid's move for the Argentina international.
Aguero signed a one-year contract extension with City at the start of the season, keeping him at the club until 2020.

Jose Mourinho has been dealt a blow in his pursuit of Victor Lindelof.
Mourinho could have brought the Benfica star to Manchester United for £34.5m in January.
But Express Sport understands he will now have to pay £50million if he wants to land Swedish international this summer.
This is because Benfica have paid to remove a minimum release clause from Lindelof’s contract.
