Tottenham transfer shocker: Star wants to return to former club
ERIK LAMELA wants to leave Tottenham in the summer to return to his former club Roma, according to reports.
Erik Lamela's INCREDIBLE 'rabona' goal
Erik Lamela has been in Rome this month after requesting to return to his house in the Italian capital as he recovers from a long-term injury.
The Argentina international has been sidelined with a hip problem for months and has not featured in the Premier League since last October.
And reports suggest Lamela now wants a permanent return to Italy and would welcome a move to his former club Roma.

Football website Squawka claims the 24-year-old is unsettled and homesick in London - a problem made worse by his prolonged spell on the sidelines.
And Roma are said to be interested in re-signing the winger as they make plans for the upcoming summer transfer window.
The report says the Serie A giants will offload at least one player to make room for the Spurs man.
Lamela spent two seasons with Roma, making 67 appearances and scoring 21 goals and providing 13 assists.
Tottenham will reportedly look to recoup the £30million they spent to sign Lamela from the Italian club in 2013.
He is under contract at White Hart Lane until June 2019.
