Liverpool legend identifies Jurgen Klopp problem: This ace is ridiculously poor
DANIEL STURRIDGE and Divock Origi represent two of Liverpool’s biggest problems at the moment.
Daniel Sturridge - 5 things you need to know
That is the verdict of Liverpool legend John Aldridge.
Sturridge has barely been given a look-in by Jurgen Klopp, while Origi has failed to impress with Sadio Mane currently on Africa Cup of Nations duty with Senegal.
Liverpool’s results have suffered in recent weeks, failing to win any of their past three Premier League games and they are now 10 points adrift of table toppers Chelsea.

Jurgen Klopp has seen Liverpool's performances dip in recent weeks
With no Mane, it's an issue. Divock Origi's confidence is so low and he's playing so poorly, it's ridiculous
And Aldridge is convinced the Reds just aren’t the same without Mane.
“With no Mane, it's an issue. Divock Origi's confidence is so low and he's playing so poorly, it's ridiculous,” Aldridge told the Liverpool Echo.
“Can Daniel Sturridge play there? We just don't know. He popped up there against Swansea but he was coming too deep.
“In fairness to Jurgen, maybe he thought he had players to cope with his absence in Origi and Sturridge.
John Aldridge thinks Liverpool desperately miss Sadio Mane
“They're both quick, direct and have proven themselves in this league, so it wasn't a stretch thinking they could.
“But for them two in particular right now, it's just not happening. You can't say they haven't had plenty of opportunities between them, but for whatever reason, it's not working out.”
Liverpool are up in EFL Cup semi-final action tomorrow (8pm) against Southampton, looking to overturn a 1-0 deficit.
