Liverpool News: Matip FIFA update, Aubameyang on Klopp reunion, Hart talks
EXPRESS SPORT brings you the latest Liverpool news.
Liverpool are yet to hear from FIFA regarding Joel Matip's availability
Jurgen Klopp is yet to hear anything from FIFA regarding the availability of Joel Matip - who has been unable to play for Liverpool since refusing a call-up to the Africa Cup of Nations.
"There is no update," Klopp said ahead of Liverpool’s clash with Swansea tomorrow (12:30pm).
"FIFA mentioned to us today that it will be D-day.
"It is difficult because we are in a moment with a lot of fixtures and not as much training.
"I have to concentrate on other things - but I am informed and there is no news."
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has ruled out a reunion with Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has revealed he is unlikely to join Liverpool.
The 27-year-old played under Klopp at Borussia Dortmund and has been linked with a move to reunite with him at Liverpool.
But when asked whether he would be interested in joining Liverpool this summer, Aubameyang said: "I don't think that'll happen."
Liverpool are intersted in signing Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart
Liverpool have made an approach to sign Manchester City outcast Joe Hart.
That is according to Italian newspaper Tuttosport, who claim the Reds have made their interest known but talks have not progressed much further.
The report says Klopp is keen on the experienced keeper after new signing Loris Karius has struggled this season.
