Liverpool complete first January deal
READING have snapped up Tiago Ilori from Liverpool on a permanent deal, according to reports.
Thiago Ilori has joined Reading on a permanent deal
Reading have sealed a deal for the defender for £3.75million.
Liverpool will recieve 35 per cent of any sell on fee.
Ilori, 23, joined Liverpool from Sporting in 2013 for around £7m but failed to make a first team appearance.
He spent last season on loan at Aston Villa but didn't make an impression.
He also joined Granada and Bordeaux on loan while at Liverpool and has been capped by Portugal under-23s.
And Jaap Stam has moved to bring him to the Madjeski Stadium as they look to build on a positive start to the season.
Reading are third after 24 games but were dispatched by Manchester United in the FA Cup third round on Saturday.
