But Wenger, who has come under criticism from the fans for his reluctance to spend in previous transfer windows, would rather wait for his injured stars to return to the first-team fold.
When asked about who else could come to the Emirates this month, Wenger gave the answer short shrift.
“In our club, who is going out? Nobody at the moment. Who is coming in? Nobody,” Wenger said.

“The best way would’ve been to get [Santi] Cazorla back, to get Danny Welbeck back.
“Anyway, there is very little hope to find players of that quality in the January transfer market.
“So the best way to deal with that is to get our injured players back.”
Arsenal turn their attentions to the third round of the FA Cup on Saturday (5:30pm) when they face Preston.
