Leeds United centre-back Jansson is currently on loan from Italian side Torino.
But the West Yorkshire club have the option to sign Jansson for £3.5million (€4m) once he makes his 20th appearance.
And that 20th game came today as Jansson started for Leeds in their Championship clash against Rotherham.
Leeds beat the Millers 3-0 thanks to a double from Chris Wood and Kyle Bartley’s header.
Jansson has now played 19 league games for Leeds this season and made his debut in the 1-0 EFL Cup win at Luton back in August.

Meanwhile, Leeds have sent striker Jack McKay on loan to Scottish league One side Airdrieonians for the rest of the season.
