Antonio Conte should copy Man United by doing this in the January window - Mark Lawrenson
CHELSEA should try and copy Manchester United by bringing in a player of Henrik Larsson’s ilk in the January transfer window, according to Mark Lawrenson.
Manchester United snapped up Larsson on a three-month loan deal in 2007.
The move proved worth it, as the former Celtic striker struck three times in 13 appearances, earning praise at the time from then Red Devils boss Sir Alex Ferguson.
Antonio Conte left out Blues summer signing Michy Batshuayi from the starting line-up for the 3-0 win over Bournemouth on Boxing Day when Diego Costa was suspended.

I don't know who the 2017 version of Larsson would be, or whether they could get him
Mark Lawrenson
And pundit Lawrenson reckons Chelsea would benefit by finding a stop-gap solution up front.
“Up front is the only area where Chelsea look a bit short," Lawrenson told BBC Sport.
“I don't think they will sign anyone, but if they do it might be similar to when Manchester United signed Henrik Larsson at the age of 35 during the 2006-07 season.

“By that I mean an experienced striker who would get them goals in the short-term. I don't know who the 2017 version of Larsson would be, or whether they could get him, but that is the type of player they might be after.”
Chelsea will be searching for their 13th Premier League win against Stoke today (3pm).
