The Premier League champions are just three points above the relegation places following a 2-0 Boxing Day defeat to Everton, their ninth defeat of the league season.
But Albrighton says discussions about going down just a year after lifting the title are not on the agenda within the squad.
“I don’t think we can talk about it as players,” said Albrighton.

“Possibly elsewhere maybe, but we can’t do that. We have to stay positive and keep looking forward. There is a long way to go in the season.
“We are only halfway but we need to have a better second half to the season than the first half.
“We as players have to focus on going forward. If people are talking on the outside about relegation battles that is up to them.
“As players, we are the only ones who can turn this around and to do that we have to be focused on moving forwards.”
But Albrighton admits opponents are now heading to Leicester – who are at home again to West Ham on Saturday – with confidence after the champions’ dramatic fall from grace.
“I am sure they are,” he said. “We have not had the best of results in recent weeks so I am sure they are coming with more confidence than last year.
“That is a given, but we need to get back to what we do best, working hard and getting into people’s faces, fighting for the cause.”
