Jurgen Klopp reveals Liverpool masterplan: This is how we will win the title
JURGEN KLOPP insists Liverpool have a strong enough squad to cope with a title challenge for the duration of the season.
Klopp: There is a lot of positivity at LFC
Liverpool have been weighed down by their lack of a top-flight title since 1990, but are in a good position to end their 27-year wait this season.
Jurgen Klopp's side are the league's top scorers with every forward player contributing - six players have five or more goals in all competitions.
A 4-3 defeat at Bournemouth and a 2-2 draw with West Ham dropped them off the pace from Chelsea but two clean sheets and six points against Middlesbrough and Everton have put them back on track.
Jurgen Klopp admits Liverpool are in the title race
Liverpool haven't won the top flight since 1990
And Klopp believes, with a little luck along the way, Liverpool can continue to keep touch with the race for the title.
"We are not the last 25 years. We are now. We are this generation," Klopp told Sky Sports.
"As much as we love all the guys from the past which created this club, we cannot make their job. We have to do our job.

He added: "We are young enough, we are good enough, we are strong enough and we have an outstanding, skilled team. The only problem is there are a few teams around that have not a worse team, too.
"It's still football. The more you wish doesn't make it more likely, but it's still possible and we will stay in the race, for sure.
"We have played a really good season until now, but becoming a champion means you need to play a really good season plus having luck in the right situations.
“No injuries and a little bit of luck in this game and that game."
