You won't believe what Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez said to this Manchester City player
ALEXIS SANCHEZ appeared to have no idea who Ilkay Gundogan was during Manchester City's tribute to their injured star.
'Is he a youth player?': Alexis Sahnchez on Gundogan
Gundogan has been ruled out for the season after suffering a knee injury earlier this month, the third major injury of his career.
The City players paid tribute to the 26-year-old before their 2-1 win over Arsenal by wearing shirts with his name and number showing.
The stunt was widely criticised on social media, but it seems that the whole thing went over the head of Arsenal ace Alexis Sanchez.

A Chilean TV network broadcast footage of a pre-match conversation between Sanchez and fellow Chile international Claudio Bravo at the Etihad.
Sanchez warmly greets Bravo with a handshake and a hug before realising the goalkeeper's shirt is the wrong way round and reading: 'Gundogan 8'.
Sanchez then said to Bravo: "What happened? Who’s that?"

Bravo replied: "He f****d up his knee the other day."
Sanchez then asked: "Who? Who is the 8?" before adding: "Is he a youth player?"
Bravo then said: "No, he plays for Germany."
Sanchez ended the conversation, saying: "Haha, I don't know anything."
Manchester City had the last laugh that day, running out victors thanks to Leroy Sane and Raheem Sterling despite Sanchez's opener.
Meanwhile, Gundogan faces a race against time to be fit for the start of next season as he recovers from cruciate knee ligament damage.
