Mamadou Sakho's move away from Liverpool hits stumbling block over loan fee
LIVERPOOL face holding on to Mamadou Sakho for another six months with interested clubs put off by the loan fee.

Liverpool have opened the door for Sakho to leave the club next month on loan with West Ham and West Brom both showing interest.
But the Merseyside club have asked for interested parties to fork out a loan fee of £500,000 and cover the France international's £80,000-a-week wages, according to the Daily Mail.

Sakho came close to leaving Anfield in the summer with West Brom showing interest but the defender chose to remain at the club to try and fight for his place.
However Jurgen Klopp has refused to include Sakho in any of the match day squads this season, forcing the defender to play with the Liverpool U23s.

The 26-year-old fell out with the Liverpool boss in the summer and was sent home early from the club's pre-season tour of the USA.
Sakho also has options abroad with Lille, AC Milan and Inter Milan all monitoring his situation.
