Manchester United plot £180m spending spree: Jose Mourinho to bring in four new players
MANCHESTER UNITED boss Jose Mourinho is reportedly plotting to spend over £180million on four new players in the next two transfer windows.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic praises Victor Lindelof
After spending £145m in the summer to bring Paul Pogba, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Eric Bailly and Henrikh Mkhitaryan to Old Trafford, Mourinho is once again ready to open Manchester United's cheque book.
Sweden international Victor Lindelof has been heavily linked with a move to United - Benfica president Luis Filipe Vieira and super agent Jorge Mendes are understood to have been in England for talks this week.
According to The Telegraph, Lindelof was meant to be a target for the summer but the considerable interest in the player following his breakthrough into the Portuguese side has forced United to change their plans.
A deal worth around £38million is expected to be agreed and completed early in next month's transfer window.

Mourinho will then set his sights on bringing Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann, Lindelof's Benfica team-mate Nelson Semedo and Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko to Old Trafford next summer.
Griezmann has been a long term target for United and it is claimed United are hopeful his good relationship with Pogba will convince him to join.

Right-back Semedo is valued at around £25m and is wanted as competition for Antonio Valencia.
And Bakayoko, who is also wanted by Chelsea, is viewed as a long-term replacement for Michael Carrick in defensive midfield.
