Arsene Wenger: My thoughts on Alexis Sanchez's £400k-a-week move from Chinese Super League
ARSENE WENGER says he has no reason to discredit reports of a big-money move for Alexis Sanchez from a Chinese Super League club.
The best of Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez
Alexis Sanchez has been locked in contract talks with Arsenal for a while as he's about to enter the final 18-months of his current deal.
But the Gunners are yet to meet his wage demands, with the Daily Mail claiming Sanchez is set to use a £400,00-a-week offer from a Chinese Super League club as leverage in his negotiations.

Arsene Wenger confident of Alexis Sanchez rejecting move to China
And Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says he has no reason not to believe the speculation but is confident the 27-year-old will resist a move to China.
When asked if he thinks there's any truth to the rumours, Wenger said: "I believe it yes, why not. But why should you go to China today when you play in England?"
The Chile international currently earns £130,000 a week at the Emirates Stadium and is looking to become the club's highest earner on at least £200,000 a week.
Arsene Wenger willing to let Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil leave on a frees rather than sell them
Gunners team-mate Mesut Ozil is also out of contract at the end of next season but Wenger insists the pair will not be sold before.
“18 months is quite long in football you know," Wenger added. "They have 18 months contract and are completely committed and will do well as long as they are here.
"Beyond that we will try to extend their contract. But I can’t make a subject of that in every press conference. The less you talk about it the better it is."
