Arsenal News: Wilshere and Wenger exclusive, Real Madrid contact, star expendable
EXPRESS SPORT brings you all the latest news from the Emirates.
Wenger happy Arsenal top their Champions League group
Jack Wilshere is set to be offered a new contract with Arsenal at the end of the season.
The Gunners midfielder is impressing on loan at Bournemouth, but will only have 12 months left on his Emirates deal when he returns.
Express Sport understands talks are expected to then take place in the summer, with a future still possible in north London.
It is understood Arsene Wenger and Wilshere have not been in direct contact since the England international left at the end of August.
But the Arsenal boss is simply keen to allow the 24-year-old to concentrate on his progression under Eddie Howe at Dean Court for now.

Arsenal are among three Premier League clubs to have reportedly contacted Isco’s father
Arsenal are among three Premier League clubs to have reportedly contacted Isco’s father over a potential move.
Real Madrid’s playmaker is somewhat out of favour under Zinedine Zidane at the Bernabeu and struggling for regular game time.
Isco is represented by his father Paco Alarcon, and according to Diario Gol, the Gunners, Chelsea and Manchester City have all made approaches.
The Spaniard is now said to have told Zidane he is uncertain over his Madrid future amid the three tempting offers from England.
The La Liga giants apparently value Isco at around £34m, but a contract renewal is also potentially in the works.

Mesut Ozil has been an influential figure at Arsenal under Arsene Wenger
Mesut Ozil will be deemed more expendable than team-mate Alexis Sanchez if neither budge on their wage demands.
Arsenal are continuing to try and push through contract extensions for both key players.
But according to The Telegraph, Ozil and Sanchez want £20m a year (£384,000 a week) to commit long-term.
And with Arsenal not budgeting for that, they would reluctantly listen to offers for the German over their Chilean striker if an agreement cannot be reached.
Wenger is more able to replace Ozil in the modern transfer market than Sanchez - a prolific striker - with Marco Reus on their target list.
