Gary Cahill scored an own goal against Manchester City
Chelsea have won eight Premier League matches on the bounce since Antonio Conte switched to a 3-4-3 formation at the start of October.
Conte's new system has seen Gary Cahill, who has started every game for Chelsea this season, take on the role of a left-sided centre-back.
Jamie Redknapp says Gary Cahill does not suit Antonio Conte's new system
The 30-year-old scored an own goal in Saturday's 3-1 win over Manchester City - and Redknapp believes it was down to him being right-footed.
"Chelsea are crying out for a left-sided centre-back," Redknapp wrote in the Daily Mail.
Gary Cahill failed to deal with Jesus Navas' cross
"Gary Cahill has done well there this season but the position does not come naturally to him.
"The reason he scored his own goal at Manchester City on Saturday was because he went for the ball with his right foot rather than try to clear Jesus Navas’ cross with his left."
