Arsenal target new goalkeeper: Current chairman yet to offer him a contract
ARSENAL want to sign teenage Italian goalkeeper Aniello Viscovo, according to reports.
Arsenal reportedly want to sign Crotone goalkeeper Aniello Viscovo
Viscovo, 17, is on the books at Serie A strugglers Crotone but is yet to make his league debut for the club.
Italian outlet Tuttomercatoweb claim Arsenal are eyeing a possible January move for the shot-stopper.
Crotone chairman Raffaele Vrenna has not yet offered Viscovo a full-time contract and that has supposedly alerted the Gunners to his availability.
According to the report, Arsenal are keen on landing a new goalkeeper and Naples-born Viscovo fits their scouting remit.
Viscovo has twice been used as an unused substitute for Crotone this season.
He has appeared for the club in Italian football’s youth league system and in the Coppa Italia Primavera.

The report adds that Viscovo showed his potential in impressive displays against Atalanta, Roma and Bologna U19 sides recently.
Meanwhile, Arsenal could lose David Ospina next summer as the goalkeeper seeks showdown talks with manager Arsene Wenger.
Ospina is reportedly unhappy about being second choice at the Emirates to No 1 goalkeeper Petr Cech.
