And the Manchester United manager would not divulge where he watched his side progress to the EFL Cup semi-finals.
But he was happy with the performance of his players in the 4-1 victory and the management of his coaching staff in his absence.

Asked by Sky Sports where he decided to watch the tie, Mourinho replied: "It's a secret. I was in contact with the bench.
"Yesterday we worked really well and everybody was prepared.
"At half-time I could be face to face with the players and on top of that I trust my assistants to pass on the information we need.

Anthony Martial booked his side's place in the last four with two goals early in the second half after former United player Anthony Fletcher had cancelled out Zlatan Ibrahimovic's early opener.
