Leicester star Riyad Mahrez mocks Tottenham: This was the funniest moment of last season
RIYAD MAHREZ has revealed he found it funny when Tottenham handed Leicester the Premier League title last season.
Leicester star Riyad Mahrez found Eden Hazard's equaliser for Chelsea against Spurs last term funny
Leicester won the unlikeliest of titles in May, defying their odds of 5,000/1 to top the Premier League.
The Foxes were confirmed champions when Eden Hazard’s late equaliser earned Chelsea a 2-2 draw against Tottenham at Stamford Bridge.
Spurs had led 2-0 at half-time, meaning the Leicester players who had congregated at Jamie Vardy’s house were keeping the champagne on ice.

But a stunning second-half turnaround from Chelsea through Gary Cahill and then a stunning solo goal from Hazard sparked wild celebrations at Vardy’s place.
"The funniest moment [of last season]? I think it was when Tottenham were 2-0 ahead of Chelsea,” Mahrez told FourFourTwo magazine.
“All the team were at Vardy's house thinking 'we're probably not going to be champions tonight'.
“I was like, 'What's the point of coming?!' and then 2-1, 2-2... it was funny."
Mahrez and Leicester have struggled to defend their title this season though, currently sitting in 14th place.
Mahrez has found it difficult to match his own personal form after being crowned PFA Player of the Year last term.
