Chelsea Transfer News: Inter chief on Costa move, Conte eyes defender, Rodriguez update
EXPRESS SPORT brings you the latest Chelsea transfer news.
Diego Costa has been linked with a move to Inter Milan
Inter Milan sporting director Piero Ausilio has rubbished reports linking the club with a move for Chelsea striker Diego Costa.
"To talk about this is absurd, we already have a very strong centre-forward (Mauro Icardi)," he told Premium Sport.
"We will try to evaluate the positions we feel need strengthening."
Antonio Conte is interested in bringing Napoli defender Faouzi Ghoulam to Chelsea
Chelsea are reportedly set to renew their interest in Napoli star Faouzi Ghoulam.
The 25-year-old was apparently the subject of a £24million bid from Chelsea in the summer, but the Algeria international opted to stay in Italy.
But Algerian news outlet Le Buteur claim the Blues are ready to renew their interest in Ghoulam in January.
Ricardo Rodriguez looks set to stay at Wolfsburg despite interest from Chelsea
Chelsea target Ricardo Rodriguez will not be leaving Wolfsburg, according to his agent.
The Blues were heavily linked with the 24-year-old in the summer, but instead opted to sign Marcos Alonso.
However, any speculation linking him with a move away from the Bundesliga side has been quashed with his agent Gianluca Di Domenico, saying: “Ricardo is usually the object of transfer speculation, but it’s time to put an end to these stories.
“Ricardo is only focused on Wolfsburg.”
