Chelsea News: Moses set for new deal, Man City star makes shock admission, Ivanovic exit
EXPRESS SPORT brings you the latest Chelsea news.
Victor Moses has impressed for Chelsea under Antonio Conte this season
Chelsea are reportedly set to reward Victor Moses with a new contract in the coming weeks amid interest from Barcelona.
Moses has been revitalised at Chelsea this season under manager Antonio Conte in a new wing-back role.
And Sky Sports claim the Nigeria international will be rewarded with a bumper new deal.
His current contract doesn't run out until 2019 but the report suggests Barcelona are keeping an eye on Moses' situation at Chelsea and see him as one of the best right-back options in Europe right now.
Yaya Toure reckons Chelsea will beat Manchester City on Saturday
Yaya Toure reckons Chelsea are favourites to beat Manchester City on Saturday (12:30pm).
And Toure admits this is because Antonio Conte’s side don’t have any European commitments.
"It's going to be a tough game on Saturday, that's for sure,” Toure said. "They definitely have an advantage. It's difficult to play midweek and then the weekend after.
"Sometimes with the European schedule we play on a Wednesday, like this week, and then a Saturday. It's sometimes tough to be focused and in these kind of games, you have to prepare well to compete."
Branislav Ivanovic has fallen down the pecking order at Chelsea
Juventus are reportedly eyeing Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic as a replacement for Leonardo Bonucci.
The Italian has been ruled out for two months with a hamstring injury and Juve are also without Dani Alves, who has broken his leg.
And Italian outlet Gazetta dello Sport claim the Serie A champions could move for Ivanovic, who has been frozen out at Chelsea, in January to shore up their depleted defence.
