PHILIPPE COUTINHO will have a scan tomorrow after suffering an injury to his ankle during the 2-0 win over Sunderland yesterday.

The Brazilian was stretchered off the pitch following a clash with Black Cats midfielder Didier N'Dong.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp confirmed Coutinho did sustain an ankle injury in his post-match interview yesterday, but was unaware of the exact details of his injury.
But it is understood he is expected to have sustained ankle ligament damage, which could rule him out until the New Year.

This will come as a huge blow for Klopp, who has already lost in-form midfielder Adam Lallana to a groin injury which he picked up while on international duty.
There were also fears over Roberto Firmino's fitness following the win over David Moyes' side.
Klopp said Firmino picked up a knock on his calf during the clash at Anfield, but he is believed to be ok.

But the same cannot be said for Daniel Sturridge.
The England international missed the game against Sunderland with a minor calf strain.
He missed a number of training sessions in the build up to that game and he is believed to have sat out of training again today.
