TWO Manchester United fans hid in an Old Trafford toilet on Friday night in an attempt to sneak into Saturday's clash with Arsenal.

The supporters had been on a tour of the stadium but snuck off to hide in the toilets in preparation for Saturday's game against Arsenal.
Their plan was to spend the night in the toilets before emerging undetected for the game against the Gunners which kicked off at 12.30pm.
However, they were found on Saturday morning during a routine security sweep of the ground and handed over to police, but they were not arrested.

"We realise people will go to any lengths to watch a game at Old Trafford but these people went too far," a United spokesperson said.
"The fact that they and their belongings had been searched before entry means we are confident there was no risk to safety."

The pair had been searched by staff prior to entering Old Trafford when they embarked on their tour of the ground.
The incident comes six months after United's Premier League game against Bournemouth at Old Trafford was called off due to a bomb scare.
The stadium was evacuated after a suspect package was found in a toilet in the corner of the ground.
It was later discovered to be a fake explosive, left behind after a training exercise earlier in the week.
