Mauricio Pochettino sends direct message to Tottenham fans over Harry Kane and Hugo Lloris
TOTTENHAM fans should not be worried about the long-term futures of their star players, insists Mauricio Pochettino.

Tottenham are negotiating new contracts for Harry Kane and Hugo Lloris, who want increases in their wages.
Spurs operate a strict wage policy that they will not budge from.
They have already secured the long-term futures of Danny Rose, Eric Dier, Dele Alli and Harry Winks this season.

Christian Eriksen supposedly wanted a £150,000-a-week deal to remain at the White Hart Lane club but was eventually convinced to sign a contract in line with Spurs' structure.
And Pochettino, who is aware that rivals clubs could be tempted to bid for star man Kane and Lloris, has urged fans to remain calm as negotiations continue.
"They are very happy here, and we are very happy too," the manager said.

"That’s the most important thing.
"There is some rumour that can affect our fans but they should not be worried about things like this because the players want to be here in the long-term.
"I think they are talking maybe about improving and extending the contract and I think in the future it won’t be a problem to do."

Kane supposedly wants above the £100,000-a-week maximum limit that Spurs have put on contracts for their players, with Manchester United reportedly interested in his services.
Lloris, meanwhile, is said to be aware that he can double his earning potential elsewhere.
