They sit sixth after 11 games and their victory over Swansea last week was their first in the league since September.
Mourinho spent big on the summer bringing in Paul Pogba, Eric Bailly, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and free agent Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

But the results haven’t been as good as hoped after he replaced Louis van Gaal in the summer.
He’s admitted life in Manchester has been a bit of a disaster - because his homelife is still not great.
But Belgium midfielder Fellaini has backed the Portuguese to turn it around.

Speaking to FullTime Devils, he said: “Count on him, because he works hard. He gives everything for the club.
“He likes the club and shows that in the training and in the game his frustration when the team is not playing well.
“And even his experience — he has a lot of experience, coached a lot of teams good teams, big teams, so he has the experience.
“So with time, I’m sure we will win a lot of games in a short time because we do well. We just have to win.”
