It wasn’t good for United, but that’s just part of football
Fellaini left Everton for United in a £27.5million deal the following year.
And he confirmed he still has fond memories of that draw, which contributed to Everton finishing seventh in the league that season - one place above Liverpool.
“I have a few, but I think the 4-4 draw at Old Trafford was a very good moment for Everton," Felliani told Manutd.com when asked about his memories playing against the club.
"It wasn’t good for United, but that’s just part of football.”
Asked who was his toughest opponent when facing the Red Devils, Fellaini said: “(Nemanja) Vidic. It was always tough to play against him.
"He defended very well and he was a very tough player.”
