Manchester United double deal update: Manager drops transfer hint
LA GALAXY manager Bruce Arena has responded to speculation linking his side with moves for Manchester United pair Wayne Rooney and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Bruce Arena suggests LA Galaxy are not interested in Wayne Rooney and Zlatan Ibrahimovic
Rooney has endured a difficult start to the season under Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho, having started just one of his side's last six Premier League games.
And The Sun reported last month that MLS side LA Galaxy has linked Rooney up as a potential replacement for midfielder Steven Gerrard.
While Ibrahimovic has had a mixed start to life at Old Trafford, ending his six-game goal drought with a brace in Sunday's 3-1 win over Swansea.
And The Mirror reported last week that Galaxy would be interested in landing the Swede next summer when his United contract expires.
However, Galaxy chief Arena has suggested there is no truth in the rumours.
When asked about the pair, he said: "Let me give you a little hint - maybe 90 per cent of the things that you see in the papers are not accurate."

Arena is also keen for former Liverpool pair Gerrard and Robbie Keane to extend their stay at Galaxy when their deals expire at the end of the season.
"We were honoured to have Stevie here as well as Robbie and are hopeful they continue to be part of our club," added Arena.
