CESC FABREGAS is reportedly set to reject interest from West Ham - with only a switch to another top European club on his agenda at Chelsea.

The 29-year-old is down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge with Antonio Conte opting for a stronger presence in midfield.
Summer signing N’Golo Kante and tough-tackling Nemanja Matic are preferred in the centre under the new 3-4-3 set-up.
And Chelsea have benefited greatly from the change, leaving Fabregas surplus to requirements, especially with his £160,000-a-week wages.
Interest has emerged from China and West Ham recently, but according to the Daily Star, Slaven Bilic’s side are to be disappointed by the ex-Barcelona and Arsenal star.

It is claimed Fabregas will only leave Chelsea in January for a similar big club in Europe, having come close to joining AC Milan at the end of the summer.
West Ham’s poor start to the season won’t be the greatest attraction either, with the Hammers in 17th place.
Fabregas has been linked with a move to the London Stadium too following current playmaker Dimitri Payet’s comments suggesting he could be open to leaving.

However, while a move to a top club could be accepted, Fabregas also wishes to still prove himself under Conte.
The midfielder has made just four Premier League appearances this term, starting only once, with the EFL Cup offering him some game time.
And a recent thigh injury has seen him absent from the squad, but with Fabregas contracted at Chelsea until 2019, he wants to get back in the Italian manager’s long-term plans.
