YAYA TOURE'S agent Dimitri Seluk has ruled out following in Yaya Toure's footsteps by voicing an apology to Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola.

Yaya Toure took to his Facebook page earlier today to apologise to Guardiola and the City fans and vowed to fight for his place.
The Manchester City midfielder has been shunned by Pep Guardiola since Seluk's outburst over Toure's expulsion from the Champions League squad in August.
Guardiola responded at the time by stating Toure would not play again until an apology was made.

But while the Ivorian played his part in making amends with his manager, Seluk believes it is Guardiola who must make the next move to bring peace.
"I'm not apologising," Seluk told talkSPORT. "We want peace, but I'm not apologising. Apologise for what?
"Maybe Toure has apologised for this, but I don't know for what.

"I think Yaya doesn't mean this. He wants peace between him Guardiola.
"We want to make peace between Guardiola, Yaya and me for the supporters, the team and for the results.
"For Manchester City, the fans and for football, it is important Yaya plays because he is a top player.
"We will see about the future, but most important we make steps to each other. Guardiola must now do the next step, because we make a step from our side to make peace."
