YAYA TOURE has told his agent to apologise to Pep Guardiola over comments that have jeopardised the player's role at Manchester City.

Toure has not played for Manchester City since a Champions League qualifier in August.
Guardiola has refused to play Toure after his agent Dimitri Seluk claimed the manager had "humiliated" Toure by leaving him out of City's Champions League squad.
Guardiola says he has no problem with the player but that Seluk must apologise for his comments before the 33-year-old can return to the first team.

And Seluk has conceded it is time to settle his differences with the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich head coach.
“I have spoken to Yaya in the last few days and he has asked me to make the peace with Pep,” Seluk told the Daily Mirror.
“I agreed with him that I had to do what I could to make the situation better, because Yaya and Manchester City have been caught in the crossfire.
“I am genuine in what I say.
"Some City fans have contacted Yaya to say that a way forward must be found.
"And some of Yaya’s team-mates at City have also contacted me to say the same thing.”
Ex-Ivory Coast international Toure has won two Premier League titles with City since his move to the Etihad from Barcelona in 2010.
The midfielder's contract expires this summer, with Guardiola supposedly happy to see him leave on a free transfer next summer.
He was linked with a move away from the club at the end of last season when Manuel Pellegrini departed but stayed on to work under Guardiola.
