Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho charged by FA after Burnley draw
MANCHESTER UNITED boss Jose Mourinho has been charged by the Football Association with misconduct after his behaviour in Saturday's goalless draw with Burnley.
"Referee was fantastic" - Manchester United's Rui Faria
Mourinho was forced to watch the second half in the stands at Old Trafford after complaining to referee Mark Clattenburg for failing to award his side a penalty in the first half.
And it is alleged by the FA that in or around the tunnel area at half time the Manchester United boss used abusive and/or insulting words towards a match official.
The Portuguese coach has until 6pm on Friday to respond to the charge.
This follows a disciplinary issue Mourinho is already facing for his comments about referee Anthony Taylor ahead of United's recent clash at Liverpool.

He had until yesterday at 6pm to accept or deny the charge.
Mourinho is likely to receive a heavy fine if found guilty by the FA of breaching their rules regarding managers talking about officials before and after games.
Since returning to English football in 2013, Mourinho has been charged six times by the FA.
