Sturridge bagged a brace at Anfield as Liverpool beat Tottenham 2-1 to progress to the EFL Cup quarter-finals.
And after the game he made the day of two young supporters.
The England international met a family in the car park and handed his match-worn shirts to them, which he revealed on Instagram.
He captioned the picture: "Met a family in the car park and gave the kids my shirts. Love my fans."
Daniel Sturridge scored a brace in win over Tottenham
Sturridge has struggled for game time this season, with Reds manager Jurgen Klopp favouring Philippe Coutinho, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane as his front three.
But he was a livewire all night at Anfield where his double put the hosts in charge before Vincent Janssen pulled a goal back with a penalty for the visitors.
"He was brilliant, he could have scored more but was really good," Klopp said of the 27-year-old forward.
"That's his talent [finishing], his strength: He's a finisher, a really good striker - no doubt about this."
And the former Chelsea and Manchester City striker was thrilled to have the chance to prove his worth in Klopp’s first-team.
“We had a lot of chances. I think we deserved it,” Sturridge said.
“When you have a lot of time, sometimes it can be more difficult, but the first one was instinctive.
“It’s a nice feeling [to be back in the team], I’m happy with tonight.”
