Adnan Januzaj - Spotlight On
The on-loan Manchester United winger injured an ankle in Saturday's 3-2 Premier League loss to Crystal Palace at the Stadium of Light.
The 21-year-old underwent a scan yesterday, with the results confirming he suffered ligament damage and now faces a spell on the sidelines.
A Sunderland statement read: "[Januazaj] suffered ankle ligament damage and now faces an unfortunate spell on the sidelines. He will now focus on returning to action as soon as possible."
Januazaj arrived at the Black Cats on a season-long loan last month but has failed to impress in his seven games - scoring in just their EFL Cup win over League One side Shrewsbury.

Goalkeeper Mannone injured an elbow in training and forward Borini damaged a groin taking a free-kick, while knee trouble has sidelined midfielder Larsson.
