Walcott has started all six of Arsenal's Premier League games this season, scoring three goals and providing one assist.
His fine performances are in stark contrast to the back-end of last term when the 27-year-old was kept out of the starting XI by Alex Iwobi.
And the England international thinks he's turned a corner because of the hard work he put in during pre season, claiming it "woke up something in his system".
"I found it difficult last year towards the end of last season… I didn't get many opportunities," Walcott said.

"But I was still working hard and it was probably from then after I spoke to many people that it probably woke up something in my system.
"I'm completely different now - I want to be better and better and people never seemed to give up on me and I need to repay them.
